All of this happens with your permission and under your control. Most processing happens right on your device---not in the cloud.

A. Permissions and Access

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your iPhone settings.

  • Anonymous session data to help us understand usage patterns

B. Automatically Processed Info

To power duplicate detection, we process some data automatically on your device:

  • Metadata like photo timestamps, image hashes, contact names, calendar event details
  • Anonymous behavior data for improving app performance and user experience

Nothing is uploaded or stored on our servers. We don't access or keep your personal content.

C. Crash Reports & Analytics

To make the app more stable, we use services like Firebase and Amplitude for crash reports and performance monitoring. These tools only collect anonymized technical data.

3. Legal Basis for Data Processing

We rely on the following legal bases for collecting and processing your information:

  • To fulfill our agreement with you by delivering the app's functionality

8. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

All purchases and subscription payments are securely processed through the Apple App Store. We never have access to your personal payment details.

Refunds must be requested through Apple Support, not through us directly.

If Apple contacts us for refund verification, we may provide limited, anonymized data related to your in-app purchase to help assess eligibility. This may include:

  • Time since app installation
  • Total usage duration
  • Anonymous user or device identifier
  • Whether the content was consumed or used
  • Whether a trial period was included
  • Total amount spent and/or refunded

We only share what's needed to support the refund process and nothing else.
